Document Scanning and indexing
Document Scanning – Housing NSW were concerned about the ongoing costs of continuing to store over 40,000 plans. In addition to that at any time it was very difficult for them to find a particular plan or set of documents that were needed. They were looking for a solution that reduced storage requirements, and provided an easy way to locate required documents.
Plan Express scanned all documents and created an electronic index to allow plans and documents be be easily found. All plans were scanned at archival quality and the indexing done to suit Housing NSW format for uploading to their mainframe system.
